With the most faithful and assiduous participants in my ‘Pics for Peace’ photography workshops in Marioupol, it was necessary for us to meet one last time.
Valery and Èvelyna weren’t available, so we were Olga, Alexandre and Mikhail together for one last meeting.
I chose the House of Culture of the Metalworkers for this friendly meeting.
Now it’s time for me to say goodbye and thank you all.
We’ve spent two months together, and not just for fun.
I imagine that my demands, my rigour (that of another generation) and the Russian that I don’t speak so perfectly when it comes to explaining in-depth notions of photography technique or composition have not been easy to ‘put up with’ on an almost daily basis.
Thank you for your patience, your youth and your good humour.

Avec les plus fidèles et assidus participants à mes ateliers de photographie « Pics for Peace » à Marioupol, il était nécessaire que nous nous rencontrions une dernière fois.
Valery et Èvelyna n’était pas disponibles, alors nous étions Olga, Alexandre et Mikhail ensemble pour un dernier rendez-vous.
J’ai choisi la Maison de la Culture des Métallurgistes pour ce rendez-vous amical.
Il est temps maintenant pour moi de vous dire « Au revoir » et de vous remercier tous.
Nous aurons passé deux mois ensemble, pas seulement pour s’amuser.
J’imagine que mon exigence, ma rigueur (celle d’une autre génération), le Russe que je ne parle pas si parfaitement dès qu’il s’agit d’expliquer des notions appronfondis de la technique ou de la composition en photographie n’ont pas été facile à « subir » presque quotidiennement.
Merci pour votre patience, votre jeunesse et votre bonne humeur.

Настало время попрощаться и поблагодарить всех вас.
Мы провели вместе два месяца, и не просто так.
Представляю, как нелегко было почти ежедневно “мириться” с моей требовательностью, строгостью (это уже другое поколение) и с тем, что я не так хорошо говорю по-русски, когда нужно объяснять глубокие понятия о технике фотографии или композиции.
Спасибо вам за ваше терпение, молодость и хорошее настроение.

Когда в Мариуполе собрались самые верные и преданные участники моих фотомастерских “Pics for Peace”, возникла необходимость встретиться в последний раз.
Валерий и Ивелина были недоступны, поэтому на последнюю встречу собрались Ольга, Александр и Михаил.
Для этой дружеской встречи я выбрал Дом Культуры Металлургов.
